I don't know if it was because of the previous post or because he is slowly coming around to my way of thinking (wink, wink), but Tim has already decided what his dish will be. In fact, he decided on Monday night and I was able to do the shopping yesterday, before the last minute shopping craze. Yeah!!!
He chose to make a croissant appetizer that we had at a friends house, but a little different (thanks). It has cream cheese, turkey (which he got free from work), herbs and spices all wrapped up in pre-made croissant dough. Then, to add his own take on the dish, he is making a cranberry dipping sauce that is thinner than traditional cranberry sauce. I think it will be amazing.
Since the recipe includes the free, frozen turkey from work, I needed to help by getting the turkey roasted. So, that is what I am doing right now. Luckily, it is a small turkey, about the size of a large chicken, so it thawed quickly and will cook fast. It smells soooooooo good in here!! Can't wait for tomorrow.
What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving Feast?
Lesson Learned: A little light-hearted teasing isn't always a bad thing, BUT only if the person can laugh at themselves. Tim is good at that! I love that about him.
