A SPECIALTY PRACTICE OF MERCY’S SAKE

Agentic AI*

for businesses tired of AI theater.

We pick the one or two agents that earn their keep, build them on your stack, install them in your business, and leave you owning them.

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE · BY APPOINTMENT

* by agentic we mean software that actually does the job — not a chatbot, not a strategy deck, not a $300K PDF.

WHAT WE MEAN BY AGENTIC

Software that does the job, quietly and repeatedly, while you sleep.

An "AI" can mean a lot of things, most of them not worth your money. Here's what we ship, in plain English.

AN AGENT THAT

answers your inbound and books what it can book.

AN AGENT THAT

qualifies your leads while you sleep and drafts the first follow-up.

AN AGENT THAT

drafts your proposals from your CRM and waits for you to send.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Right-sized businesses with real operational pain.

Verticals are illustrative, not exclusive: professional services and healthcare practices and hospitality groups and home services and any other established Nashville business with the right operational shape.

Fits like a glove

Owners and operators who'd rather get a result than a workshop.

Established businesses with enough operational complexity that one well-chosen agent saves real hours or unlocks real revenue.

Comfortable spending mid five figures on someone who ships and then leaves.

Already feel the cost of doing the same repetitive task two hundred times a week.

Probably not for you

Solopreneurs whose first question is "can I do this in ChatGPT for $20."

Organizations with internal AI teams, or with so many internal opinions that scope dies in committee.

Procurement processes that start with a 30-page vendor questionnaire.

One-off project shoppers looking for "an AI" without a real outcome attached.

* and who it isn't. We say so out loud because the worst engagement is the one neither side should have signed.

THE WORK

Three doors. Posted prices. No mystery quotes.

Every page that hides price loses mid-market trust, so here are the numbers. We say "starting at," and we refine on the call.

The Audit

$7,500 – $12,500

flat  ·  2 weeks

We sit with you, map the operation, and tell you the three to five places where one of our agents would actually pay for itself — plus an honest list of the ones to skip.

You leave with:

A prioritized shortlist, a "skip this one" list, and a fixed-price quote for The Build if you want it.

The Build

starting at $35,000

typical $50–100K  ·  4–8 weeks

Pick one agent. We tailor it to your business, install it end-to-end on your stack, train your team to operate it, and hand over docs and credentials. Then we leave.

You leave with:

A working agent in production, documentation your team can actually use, and 30 days of post-launch support.

The Stable

from $7,500/month

retainer

For clients with 2–4 agents in production who want them watched, tuned, and added to as the business changes. Optional, and earned, not pushed.

You leave with:

A quarterly roadmap, monthly check-ins, a real incident-response SLA, and the option to grow the stable.

AGENTS WE BUILD

A small, opinionated library.

like a Concierge and a Triage and a Drafter and a Watcher and a Reconciler
a healthy portion of restraint  & an assorted offering of bespoke automations

The Concierge

support inbox · calendars · service businesses

Answers inbound customer email and SMS, books what it can book, and escalates what it can't — with a paper trail your team actually wants to read.

Talk to us about this one →

The Drafter

proposals · quotes · recurring documents

Drafts proposals and quotes from your CRM and intake notes, then waits patiently for you to hit send. Replaces the part of the day nobody likes doing.

The Reconciler

invoices · statements · compliance attestations

Handles the repetitive document and data work that quietly eats your finance and ops time. Pulls, matches, attests, files.

The Triage

inbound leads · CRM · professional services

Qualifies leads from forms, email, and voicemail. Scores them, routes them, and writes the first follow-up draft for a human to sign off on.

Talk to us about this one →

The Watcher

inventory · pipeline · financial signals

Monitors the numbers you'd rather not check every morning and pings the right human before the problem becomes a problem.

Something else entirely

tailored from scratch · per your operation

None of the above? Some of our best work is the bespoke agent. The Audit is the way in — we'll tell you if it's a fit.

** five to start. We add to the library as engagements ship. Every one of them gets tailored to the business it lives inside.

THE WAY WE WORK

Three commitments, plainly stated.

Useful, not impressive.

Agents we ship survive contact with a real business and a real customer. We scope around failure modes before we scope around features. Anyone selling "fully autonomous" is selling you a future incident.

Yours, not ours.

Built on your stack, your accounts, your data. We don't have a proprietary platform — by design — so there's nothing to rent from us in perpetuity. You leave the engagement owning what we built.

A bench, not a black box.

An agency principal scopes the work. A senior agentic AI engineer builds. Additional specialists join when the engagement calls for them. We name roles, hand over docs, and leave on time

ABOUT

A marketing agency that ships agents.

Mercy's Sake is a bespoke marketing agency on a modest homestead in Goodlettsville, Tennessee — the kind of agency that runs real campaigns for a discerning roster and has the receipts to show it. The agentic AI practice is a specialty service line inside that agency: it ships agents the same way the rest of the agency ships work, with a curated bench of contractors assembled per engagement.

An agency principal scopes. A senior agentic AI engineer builds. Other specialists join when scope calls for it. We don't put names on this page because the work is what's on the page, not us.

Most "AI consultants" sell strategy decks. We sell software you can turn on Monday. Agentic AI isn't a better Google — it's not even a better ChatGPT. It's software that does the job, quietly and repeatedly, while you sleep. The companies that win this decade won't be the ones with the most AI; they'll be the ones with the right two agents in production while everyone else is still in a workshop. Operating costs are about to compress across whole industries, and whoever moves first locks in a margin advantage that's hard to claw back — your competitors will find this, probably this year, and we'd rather you be the one telling that story than hearing it. We're not here to replace your team. We're here to replace the part of their day that nobody likes doing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

The questions this page didn't already answer.

  • A chatbot talks. An agent acts. Chatbots take a question and give you an answer. Agents take a goal and complete steps — reading inboxes, writing drafts, updating CRMs, scheduling calls, watching numbers, escalating to humans — until the goal is done. If it has to ask you what to do next every five minutes, it isn't an agent.

  • Everything. The agent runs on your accounts, your APIs, your data, your infrastructure. You get the code, the prompts, the documentation, the credentials, and a runbook your team can actually use. There is nothing of ours sitting in the middle metering you. That's the whole point.

  • Then it was scoped wrong. We design agents with bounded scope, observability defaults, and a human in the loop on the things that matter — the steps where a wrong answer has real consequences get held for a person, not autopiloted. Anyone selling you "fully autonomous" for customer-facing work is selling you a future incident.

  • No. We pick the model that fits the job and your budget, and we build so you can switch models later without a rewrite. We have favorites — everyone in this business does — but we don't have a contractual reason to recommend one.

  • No. There are wonderful firms that do. We are not them.

  • The Audit can usually start within two weeks of a signed engagement letter. The Build kicks off the week after the Audit closes, so most clients are looking at a 6–10 week arc from first call to agent in production.

  • Nashville, Tennessee. We work with businesses across the Nashville metro and beyond, by appointment.
